Strawberry Picnic

 
Feb 2023 every weekend almost we had a snowstorm, grey skies outside but my studio was welcoming joyful colours. This painting started as part of a set for me dreaming picnic blankets, having strawberries jam and scones, fresh lemondae on hand and tea too! Tropical Punch and Strawberry painting underwent stages of abstract art where I was processing all the information, keeping myself positive and looking up to sunnier days. After few sittings of letting myself loose I decided to add a bit more of myself in it by mark making. 
This painting like Tropical Punch is filled with layers helping form shadows and giving it its very own peronality.
 
This painting is on cradled wood so doesnt need extra fixtures to hang. It would look lovely in dining room, near the kitchen or workspace, might also encourage more of those wonderful picnics!
