Reflective Mirrors is a series born from my personal exploration of belonging, where still life objects provide a sense of familiarity and comfort amidst constant change.

 

As someone who has moved across countries - first as an individual, and later as a parent - I once searched for home in external places. Over time, I’ve realized that home is something I carry within me. The stories I was told as a child, along with the ones I now tell myself, guide me in finding my place in the world.

Through these reflections and familiar objects, I create a space for myself in new environments and communities. This series expresses how the memories and personal narratives we hold can shape our sense of identity and belonging, allowing us to anchor ourselves in the ever-evolving spaces we inhabit.
