TORONTO OUTDOOR ART FAIR
12-14 JULY 2024
NATHAN PHILLIPS SQUARE
We are very excited that 'Reflective Memories' collection will be releasing this July in person at Toronto Outdoor Art Fair 63rd edition, at Nathan Phillips Square.

'Reflective Memories' collection of oil paintings Parmeet draws inspiration from her upbringing and the diverse landscapes of her life. With each brushstroke, she seeks to evoke emotion, spark nostalgia, and celebrate the vibrant tapestry of human experience. Mom's Phulkari, Steel Mugs etc among many provide her with familiarity and comfort, becoming recurring muses in her collection.

My highest goal is to convey the same joy and belonging to my collectors, which I feel while painting.

a different kind of happiness." - Anni Albers
ABOUT ME
Hi! I am Parmeet Arora Bori, an Indian born mixed media Artist/ Illustrator, based in Toronto,CA, who loves indulging in nostalgia - the comfort & protection of my joys of childhood.
Painting brings me joy and offers me a place to colourfully acknowledge and celebrate the beauty in world be big or small and the gratitude I feel living it!
After losing my mom to cancer in 2015 and becoming a mother myself within consecutive years, I started painting & illustrating art which creates a sense of repose, growth, recollection and belonging for me and the viewer.
I love painting objects that ignite happy memories related to family, childhood, food based on my travels, personal experiences and various stories I enjoyed as a child.
